Users of Xbox One game console have until Thursday, Sept. 3, to claim their free gift from EA Games as the game developer announced they are giving all EA Access members a free copy of the Battlefield 4 Naval Strike expansion pack.

EA Games said in a statement, Ready to take the battle to the South China Sea? This week only, we're giving all EA Access members a free copy of the Battlefield 4 Naval Strike expansion pack, which adds a new amphibious vehicle and four more multiplayer maps. Just visit the EA Access app on Xbox One before September 3 to claim your gift - and it's yours to keep forever."

The company added that gamers could earn an extra 10% discount on all EA digital content on Xbox One, including other Battlefield 4 expansion packs and Battlepacks. The discount will be automatically applied when you purchase from the Xbox One Games Store.

EA Games did not provide details if the free Naval Strike DLC expansion packs will also be offered for PlayStation 4 users.

According to GameSpot, the Naval Strike DLC focuses on the battle in the South China Sea. Amongst the key features of the expansion packs, include four maps that support multiplayers and new vehicles, such as a hovercraft, which can be used as an amphibious vehicle for amphibious attacks. The expansion also contains new weapons for users as well as new gadgets, as well as the Carrier Assault Mode feature, "which is an homage to Battlefield 2142's fan-favorite Titan mode," the report said.

EA Access is a subscription-based service offered by Electronic Arts for an affordable rate of $5 per month. It is available for Xbox One users only and the free DLC is limited to that console. Gamers who bought the Battlefield 4 for other consoles, such as the PlayStation 4, will not get the benefit of the latest free Naval Strike DLC.

In a separate report, Video Gamer reported that DICE announced that Battlefield 4's latest expansion pack called Night Operations, was released for all platforms on Tuesday, Sept. 1.

The Night Operations DLC offers new features, including a new night-time version of the game's Zavod 311 map, and other improvements on the available gadgets that allows players to wage a battle even at night time.

"Players are also able to take advantage of the dark environment by destroying lights, and by using the night-time fog to flank players. The DLC will be available to all Battlefield 4 players completely free of charge," the report said.

Using the Graveyard Shift feature of the Night Operations DLC, you can access to a variety of  Battlefield 4 modes, including Conquest, Rush, Team Death Match, Domination, and Gunmaster.
