Although Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are still technically separated, the two are still committed to maintaining a united front for their three children. The former even praised his ex-wife for the wonderful job that she's doing for their family.

Affleck made the positive statement during the premiere of "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" in New York. As he and the other cast members of the film were on the red carpet, the "Batman" star talked about the real superhero in his life.

"You know, I just marvel at my mother who did a great job of raising my brother and I," he told E! News. "Parenting is hard work but it's so rewarding and I certainly do my best."

"Jen is a superhero mom," he added. "She is an amazing mother and I'm really lucky to have her as a partner to co-parent these kids with. We try out best, we put them first and that's what we do."

Despite the status of their relationship, it can be argued that Affleck and Garner reflect the image of parents that are really trying hard to keep their family happy and together.

Earlier this month, the actor told television host Ellen that right now, he and Garner are focused on giving their kids Samuel, Seraphina and Violent all the attention and care that they need. Just recently, the two were spotted in Santa Monica with their daughters for a family day.

Aside from regular day activities, Affleck and Garner are also planning a vacation trip to Europe with their children. According to the actor, this will probably happen in Spring since he will be there to shoot the sequel to "Dawn of Justice," which is "Justice League."

Even though he will be working, it can be expected that "Batman" will make the time to enjoy the vacation with his kids and co-parent.

As for Garner, she still believes that Affleck is her soul mate despite everything that happened between them."

"You can't have these three babies and so much of what we had," she told Vanity Fair. "He's the love of my life."
