Franklin Graham is asking for prayers for his father, world-renowned evangelist Billy Graham who recently celebrated his 95th birthday. Graham was hospitalized briefly for a respiratory infection, and has since returned home to recover.

Billy Graham's passion for the Gospel and gift of evangelism has helped lead numerous people to Christ all over the world. He recently aired his last crusade, "The Cross," on Fox News, along with hundreds of other stations. The evangelist faithfully proclaimed the Gospel of Jesus Christ to hundreds of thousands of viewers, urging people to repent of their sins and to trust in Christ in his old age. According to the Billy Graham Evangelical Association, thousands of people have prayed to receive Christ after the message aired in November.

Franklin Graham is asking for prayers for his father, who recently returned home from the hospital. "He is extremely weak but his vitals are good," says Franklin - "Our family would appreciate your prayers for him that the Lord would strengthen him."

While Graham is suffering, he is not without hope - his family clings to Jesus' promise of eternal life and the everlasting glory awaiting those who put their faith in Him.

"We find words of comfort and praise in the psalms," says Franklin - "'Oh, bless our God...and make the voice of His praise to be heard, Who keeps our soul among the living, and does not allow our feet to be moved. Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will declare what He has done for my soul. Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer' (Psalm 66:8-9,16,20 NKJV)."
