Google Pixel and Pixel XL
Google Pixel is now available on Google Store, Verizon and Bestbuy CNET

The Google Pixel and Pixel XL are new smartphones that were recently announced by Google, making a move away from the Nexus brand name. Perhaps it is part of Google’s effort to consolidate everything under one roof. After all, they do have their own Google-branded WiFi router that is already available for pre-order with shipping commencing this December 5, 2016, so what about the two flagship smartphones? The Google Pixel and Pixel and Pixel XL have certainly picked up rave reviews, and you have decided to make the jump to either smartphone by taking advantage of whatever Black Friday deals that are available this year. Let us make the journey together by sifting the chaff from the wheat, and see what Verizon and Best Buy have in store for the Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones.

Google Pixel and Pixel XL deals this Black Friday from Verizon
It seems that Verizon will be offering close to a 50% on the Google Pixel smartphone, and this particular discount will also be extended to the flagship Google Pixel XL device. Of course, with Verizon carrying multiple other smartphones under their stable, you can be sure that the like of the Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge and Android 7.0 Nougat powered LG V20 will come with fair deals of their own. However, our focus for now would be the Google Pixel and Pixel XL from Verizon. Word on the street has started to trickle in, citing that Verizon introduced a BOGO (Buy One, Get One) 50% off program that will allow their customers to pick up the second Google Pixel handset at half the price. This would be the ideal arrangement if as a couple, the two of you would want to carry the same handset as it makes installation of apps, backups, and other data management a wee bit more uniformed and simpler.

Of course, those who are interested in Verizon’s offer will first have to purchase the Google Pixel and Pixel XL according to their monthly plan option -- that would amount to $27.08 each month for 24 months, which would mean the device would cost $649.99 eventually for the Pixel, with the Pixel XL attached to a $32.08 monthly bill for 24 months, resulting in a $769.99 sticker price tag. Agree to that, and Verizon would gladly provide the second phone of equal value with 50% off. Other than that, there will be a 20% discount on the Google Pixel device with the SAVE20 discount code.

Not only that, other parties point to Verizon offering a $300 discount on both the Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones under the Black Friday 2016 deals department. Let us wait and see, shall we?

Best Buy Pixel and Pixel XL offers this Black Friday
As for retail giant Best Buy, they will be offering a $100 discount for both the Google Pixel and the Google Pixel XL smartphones. This will fall under their Black Friday 2016 sales campaign, and not only that, each purchase of either the Pixel or Pixel XL will net you a free Google Chromecast as a sweetener. Any takers?
