Dr. Ronnie Floyd, a pastor of the church attended by the controversial Duggar family, has described Caitlyn Jenner's sexual transition from a man to a woman, as a sin against God and likened the act with abusing children and family member, reported Raw Story.

"You are formed by God specifically and intentionally," Floyd told his congregation at the five-branch Pinnacle Cross Church during his sermon Sunday. "There are two different sexes, male and female. And the whole scheme of the world today is to try to get us to see those are very, very unclear lines. They're not unclear lines. They are clear lines."

Floyd was clearly attributing his sermon to Bruce Jenner who has successfully transitioned himself to a woman through gender reassignment operation. Jenner, a former American Olympic gold medalist in decathlon and television personality, appeared on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine on Monday revealing her new identity as Caitlyn.

The pastor also expressed sadness over claims made by Jenner that she "thinks like a woman" that influenced her decision to change from being a man to a woman.

Floyd continued, "If you are created a man, you are specifically and intentionally created a man. So, don't try to be something else."

In his sermon, the pastor reminded his congregation that we are all sinners and broken. But he added that through the grace of God, we can be free from "confused and twisted" thoughts. Floyd said, "Anytime we demean the value of human beings, we violate what God intends for that human being. It doesn't matter what the situation is. A child, a spouse, a family member. Doesn't matter what it is. Doesn't matter whether it's ISIS, Boko Haram or any other group that's coming against Christianity today. It doesn't matter. God can save them all.

"You know, this is going to shock some of you, and it might even be offensive to some of you," Floyd added. "But I want to make something real clear, Bruce Jenner is just like you and me. We are born sinners, and we're born broken. And we're all in need of the grace of God. And we need to understand, regardless of our past, Christ died for us."

In her Vanity Fair interview, Jenner tells the writer, Pulitzer Prize and author of Friday Night Lights Buzz Bissinger, that she has now come to terms with her new gender and she is no longer suffering from panic attacks like she used to days after the gender transition.

She said, "If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, 'You just blew your entire life. You never dealt with yourself,' and I don't want that to happen."

Jenner also created a new Twitter account in the name of Caitlyn Jenner that was posted at the time the Vanity Fair article was published online, which generated than 1.1 million followers.

Commenting on the controversy that hounds the 19 Kids And Counting stars, particularly Josh Duggar, who admitted to sexually molesting five children, including four of her younger sisters 12 years ago when he was still 14, Floyd said that God could forgive sinners like Josh.

He told People Magazine in a separate interview, "But I'm thankful, whether it's him or any other one, that I serve a God who can forgive everything."

Dr. Ronnie Floyd has been a pastor for over 37 years. Since 1986, Pastor Floyd has served as the Senior Pastor of Cross Church, Northwest Arkansas. In June 2014, Dr. Floyd was elected President of the Southern Baptist Convention following his nomination by R. Albert Mohler Jr., President of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
