Activision has released a patch update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. Call of Duty

Game developer Activision has recently released the much-awaited sequel to the Call of Duty franchise, but gamers who bought and downloaded the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 are having issues with the game.

Fortunately, Activision has released an update patch for the PC version of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 to address the launch issues. However, gamers who downloaded the patch claim that the update has failed to resolve many of the issues they are encountering, especially the PC version of the game.

Director of development for Treyarch (@pcdev) tweeted the following message to fans of the game and offered some help on how to address some of the issues. "BlackOps3 PC update is Live! You may need to restart Steam if it doesn't update right away."

Without providing much detail about the patch, Treyarch said via Steam that the update was aimed at "addressing performance issues on some CPUs including Intel i5 processors." The message was announced both on Twitter and Steam, but many users are still complaining that the patch did not address their issues.

The advice on Steam further reads, "We have noticed that some systems may get better input response with FPS Cap set just below refresh rate. If you have a 60hz monitor, you can try enabling Vsync and setting your FPS Cap to 58."

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3, Server Trouble On PS4

Other users of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 that are unhappy are those who own the PlayStation 4 version of the game. A report by Forbes said that Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is encountering some problems on the PS4 servers since the launch of the game.

Players have aired their frustration via Twitter who complained of intermittent connection.

Forbes writes, "Activision currently lists PS4 servers as 'Not Good,' which means 'Online services are degraded. Users in some regions may experience connectivity issues.' All other platforms are up and running.

Best Perk Tips for Weapons

Meanwhile, Segment Next reported of at least three perk slots in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 with three different set of perks for users. The three perks include Afterburner, Fast Hands and Gung-Ho.

Afterburner greatly favors players who like to move around a lot and enjoy CQC combat.  Afterburner makes repeated double jumps and slides more viable, all the while reducing the time you need to spend sprinting or wall-running to recover the charge.

Segment Next writes, "Fast Hands - Swap weapons faster and aim faster after sprinting. You can also reset the fuse when throwing back frag grenades. This is a useful combat perk that would greatly suit players who prefer close-quarters combat. Combining this with the Ghost perk can be especially useful, especially for an aggressive style of stealthy play.

"Gung-Ho - Hip-fire your weapon, deploy equipment, and throw grenades while sprinting. Oh dear. This one is a crazy perk to have if you're an expert CQC player. Combine this with a speedy SMG and you're good to go against most enemies. This gives you significant advantage while rushing or flanking enemies.
