"Fuller House" actress Candace Cameron Bure has defended the Christian faith of Ted Cruz after her fellow "The View" co-host Michelle Collins mocked the Texas Senator for living by a "crazy moral code."

During a Monday segment of "The View," Collins commented that it would be "satisfying" if the National Enquirer report alleging Cruz has cheated on his wife, Heidi, turns out to be accurate, because he lives by a "crazy moral code."

"Crazy moral code?!" Bure, a Christian, shot back. The actress argued that Cruz strives to live by Christian values and took issue with Collins referring to his way of life as a "crazy moral code."

"You know, you have a point actually," Collins responded, admitting she should have simply said, "moral code."

However, she added: "The point is if he is a cheater it would be quite satisfying. Someone like Ted Cruz, I would like to see him fall personally. He's not a good guy."

Bure disagreed with the comment as well, stating, "Michelle, I love you but I am so disagreeing with you... I don't find satisfaction in seeing anyone be ruined," she said. "I want to believe the best in people... I always want to hope and root for people."

As the show headed into a commercial break, Bure reiterated her frustration with Collins' comments, stating, "I don't know what to say. Like OK? Moving on."

Bure, an outspoken social conservative, has previously shared her thoughts on the presidential election and revealed that her pick would be someone who can "put America back in the hands of the people."

"I'm watching everyone," she told Fox411 earlier this year when asked about her presidential candidate of choice.

"I don't think there's a perfect candidate on either side. But for me it's about...who's going to put America back in the hands of the people and not so much the government," she added.

Earlier, she criticized Madeleine Albright's comment that  "there's a special place in hell for women who don't help each other," which she made in reference to those who don't support Hillary Clinton's candidacy.

Cameron-Bure first slammed Albright for making light of hell: "There's nothing funny about that..if anyone read their Bible and saw what the description of hell is...it's disgusting."

She went on to address the former secretary of state's statement: "There's so many women that are not pro-choice, that are pro-life," the actress said. "To say that they're not feminists, that they're anti-women if they're not supporting other women, that's, to me, what's wrong with feminism."

The "Fuller House" actress continued, "That is a turn-off for me as a woman."

During an earlier segment of "The View", Bure noted that she didn't appreciate Trump's use of the word "p****" when discussing Cruz.

In fact, the actress said she abhors such language so much, she's asked her "The View" co-hosts to refrain from using terms that are demeaning to women. "I don't like being called a b****," she told her co-hosts.

Bure recently appeared alongside John Stamos. Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber in the 13-episode Netflix show, "Fuller House."
