Christian actress Candace Cameron Bure has voiced her excitement after getting Whoopi Goldberg - one of the most liberal "The View" hosts - to pray to God during an episode of the talk show earlier this week.

On Wednesday, co-hosts Bure, Goldberg, Joy Behar and Jedediah Bila discussed a petition launched by singer Sheryl Crow to shorten the presidential campaign season to six months due to an "extremely damaging" 2016 campaign between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

"We cannot sustain another lengthy slugfest," Crow wrote on her Change.Org petition, adding that citizens should "ask both the DNC and RNC to reform the process and shorten our election season."

During the discussion, Goldberg grabbed Bure's hand and began to recite a prayer.

"Yes I'm getting Whoopi to pray," Bure shouted as she agreed with Goldberg's prayer to shorten the election cycle.

"Lord Make this cycle shorter," Goldberg prayed.

Bure later shared footage of the segment on her personal social media page along with the caption, "When Whoopi wants to pray with you!"

The "Fuller House" actress hasn't revealed her 2016 voting plans, but noted earlier this summer that although she wasn't exactly thrilled with the remaining choices, she absolutely planned to vote: "I've talked about how conflicted I am," she said. "I'm not happy with the ultimate choices that we're left with, but I'm still going to go out there and vote because I do believe that it's my right. And I think there are other things we have to consider."

She added, "And then there's the congressional power. There's also the seats in Congress. And I think a lot of people who don't show up to vote for the president then forget that there's all these other people we get to vote into Congress. So you're giving up so much just because you don't like the candidate choices."

During a recent podcast with "The Church Boys", Bure discussed the issue that has her most concerned this election cycle: "The biggest thing for me is the Supreme Court justices... because, no matter who wins this election, it's four years, maybe eight, if they're re-elected, but that's the maximum.

She added, "The Supreme Court justice seats will be until those people die - and that could be a very long time."

Regardless of what happens on November 8th, Bure said her faith is in God alone - not in any earthly ruler.

"I'm not a political expert, but I'm an American, and I hold conservative values," she said during a recent appearance on Fox & Friends. "I think at the end of the day, I realize I put my faith in Jesus Christ, not in any one person, and whoever becomes our candidate, our nominee and eventually our president, I will pray for them and support that they will make the best decisions for our country that they can."

Bure added that even if Americans "aren't satisfied" with either major party candidate, it's still their duty to vote.

"I don't know who I'm going to vote for at this point, I honestly don't," she admitted. "But, I will pray about the decision of who I'll vote for...I'm really looking at everyone this year...The way this election is coming down between both candidates is embarrassing for our country. A lot of people just can't help but laugh and feel sorry, but it's a shame because we have such an incredible country... It's just hard to watch. Anyone's guess is as good as mine."
