"Fuller House" actress Candace Cameron Bure recently revealed she's asked her "The View" co-hosts to stop using a certain demeaning term for women after Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump used an obscene word on the campaign trail.

During Tuesday's episode of ABC's "The View," the co-hosts discussed a recent campaign rally where Trump called attention to a woman in his crowd who had "just said a terrible thing" about rival presidential contender Ted Cruz.

Trump proceeded to echo the women's statement, telling the cheering crowd, "OK you're not allowed to say and I never expect to hear that from you again. She said - I never expect to hear that from you again - she said he's a p****."

Trump later explained the move during an appearance on Fox News: "The audience went crazy," he said. "Standing ovation. 5,000 people went nuts. They loved it. We were having fun. That's what I mean by being politically correct. Every once in awhile you can have a little fun, don't you think?"

During the discussion "The View" host Whoopi Goldberg disagreed with Trump's definition of "fun," arguing that a lot of Americans feel they "should be able to say whatever" they want to. In response, Cameron Bure, an outspoken Christian, pointed out that she's told her fellow co-hosts that she "doesn't like being called a b****."

When Goldberg argued that they've stopped calling her that, Bure noted that she still hears it "around the table." Fellow host Joy Behar then joked, "I have yet to call someone a skinny b****, and they say 'how dare you call me a skinny b****?'"

Cameron-Bure, who is also a "Dancing With the Stars" alum, was reportedly hired to join "The View" in an attempt to feature a "controversial conservative" personality, similar to that former co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who left the show in 2013 for a position at Fox News.

According to E! News, Cameron-Bure took to Facebook shortly after joining "The View" to ask her fans to show her some support and give her encouragement as she is often criticized by "nasty" liberal viewers. "Please encourage me if you watch the show. Please tag The View on your social media outlets if you have anything kind to say about me or my viewpoint," she wrote. "The majority of the feedback I get from "The View" audience is from liberals (whom I love) but are mean, hateful and downright nasty toward me. It's incredibly disheartening to read."

She added, "And while I know I have the support of many, most of those supporters don't vocalize it on social media. So all I read and "The View" hears are the negative and discouraging comments I'm tagged to that call me a vile, disgusting, worthless and bigoted human being."

Meanwhile, Netflix has released the first official trailer that features exclusive scenes from the "Full House" reboot that is set to premiere on Feb. 26.

The new, 13-episode show will star original cast members Cameron-Bure (who portrayed D.J. Tanner), Jodie Sweetin (who played Stephanie) and Andrea Barber (who portrays Kimmy Gibbler).

Like its predecessor, the show is expected to be friendly for all ages: "We want to protect the image of 'Full House,'" Cameron-Bure told TheBlaze in April. "We're all going into this with the understanding that we're going to give the fans what the original show gave, which was good family programming that you'll want to watch with your children."
