The highly anticipated face off of the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors is slated to occur on Friday (December 25). The Christmas Day basketball match is pegged as one to generate a wide audience. With the LeBron James squad looking to avenge themselves in their losses in the hands of the Stephen Curry team, fans of the NBA are excited to see which group will prevail. The Cleveland Cavaliers will be visiting the Golden State Warriors at the Oracle Arena in Oakland. The Klay Thompson vs Kyrie Irving squad match is scheduled at 5:00 pm ET.

As the Cleveland Cavaliers attempt to rewrite history, sports analysts believe that King James will be the deciding factor for the said team to snag a win. The former Miami Heat star has been known to take on multiple posts in the hardwood court - an ability that could see the Iman Shumpert squad succeed this Christmas Day. However, the Draymond Green squad is not the top team in the NBA for no reason.

"Our guys love these type of games," shared Luke Walton, according to NBC Sports. The Golden State Warriors interim coach added, "It's not an epic game. It's a regular-season game. It should be entertaining. Obviously, a finals rematch with two of the best teams in the NBA going at it at prime time on Christmas Day. That's enough to make it a very exciting game. But win or lose, it's just another game on the column."

Green shared that he is aware of the changes in both teams. Hence, the Golden State Warriors could not expect to face the same situation with the Cleveland Cavaliers this time. He said, "They're a different team, we're a different team. We've grown. I'm sure they've grown. We're not going back to the Finals like, 'Look at this, this is what they did.' They've got 26 games that we can look at from this year."

For their part, David Blatt shared that James is prepared for the Harrison Barnes squad. The Cleveland Cavaliers head coach disclosed his confidence over the ability of King James "to play and to defend multiple positions."

"And the fact that you can depend on him to do several things, including rebounding his position well, whether he's playing on a win or whether he's playing even as a power forward, so to speak," said Blatt of James. He added, "And the fact that defensively he's so smart at whatever position he's guarding, your defensive schemes aren't going to be hurt. In some ways, they can even be enhanced. Throw into that the offensive piece that, obviously, if he's playing in a smaller lineup, he's going to give you some significant advantages."
