This coming January will be CES 2015, which is one of the biggest trade shows in the world for consumer electronics.  The annual show takes place in Las Vegas, and it is where the big consumer electronics companies come to show off their products.  Many mobile phone companies use the event to unveil their latest smartphones, and it is rumored that LG and Xiamomi will be unveiling their latest phone, and other companies like ASUS, Huawei, Samsung, Sony, HTC, and Lenovo might also show off their new phones as well.

ASUS

According to Ubergizmo, ASUS CEO Jerry Shen has already disclosed that the company will be on hand at CES 2015 to debut more Intel-based smartphones.  Shen also mentioned "that the company has plans for non-Intel smartphones and that these devices will be launched in the Chinese market via China carriers such as China Mobile and China Telecom, followed by other global markets".

LG

Tweak town reports that the LG G Flex 2 will be launched at CES 2015, and it will be a major upgrade over the original G Flex.  If you aren't familiar with the G Flex, it is a phone with a curved screen.  There have been rumors that the G4 could be unveiled, but this probably won't occur until a few months later, according to PC Advisor.

Xiaomi

Xiaomi is a privately owned Chinese electronic company that is the third largest smartphone distributor.  Ubergizmo reports that Xiaomi is planning on unveiling a next generation smartphone called the Mi5 at CES 2015.

Huawei

At IFA 2014, Huawei presented the Ascend Mate 7, and Android Pit expects that the company will unveil an American version of this phone at CES 2015.

Samsung

There hasn't really been any word on any unveiling from this company as far as smartphones are concerned.  We have discussed before that the Samsung Galaxy S6 could be unveiled at Mobile Phone Congress in February, but the idea of a sneak peak at CES 2015 is theoretically possible.

Sony

The big word is that Sony is intending to launch the Xperia Z4 at CES 2015, according to PC Advisor.  We have already discussed the various rumors around this phone.

HTC

Considering that users of the HTC One M7 and the One M8 are waiting for that Lollipop update, it is highly doubtful whether the company will unveiled the HTC One M9.

Lenovo/Motorola

Lenovo recently acquired Motorola, but it is not known what Lenovo will do with Motorola's phone designs.  It would be terrific to see what will happen, as this company is more famous for showing off its laptops and tablets rather than its smartphones at CES 2015.
