"Fixer Upper" stars Chip and Joanna Gaines are America's favorite house-flipping duo - and they're not going anywhere anytime soon.
In a recent Instagram post, the HGTV couple announced they are premiering a new series called "Behind the Design", which will focus on Joanna's highly sought-after design process.
"We have a lot of questions about the designs and what goes on, on 'Fixer Upper' and how we get from point A to Z when it comes to these house and these projects from a design standpoint, which focuses on each project," Joanna Gaines said in a video on Instagram. "And you get a more inside scoop of how we came up with a lot of the decisions and the design elements that we got to incorporate."
A clip of the upcoming show, which will premiere sometime in 2017, will air March 28 after the final episode of season 4 of "Fixer Upper" on HGTV.
HGTV's website described the show as, "Joanna will share detailed insider insights on the design strategies, decorating and staging of the individual home-makeovers featured in the main series. Each half-hour episode will focus on Joanna's design process from one Fixer Upper renovation."
Like "Fixer Upper," "Behind the Design" is expected to be a huge success for HGTV; The Wrap notes that the fourth season of the couple's home improvement series drew 20 million viewers, placing it at the top of HGTV's shows.
Since the premiere of their show in 2013, Chip and Joanna have rapidly expanded their business beyond remodeling into retail, real estate and furniture. Last year, the couple opened a bakery and garden store in addition to the shopping center, which draws 20,000 visitors each week. They also run a vacation rental and are currently remodeling a forthcoming breakfast restaurant. Last month, Joanna announced the launch of her latest endeavor - a wallpaper line.
The Gaines, who are sometimes seen praying with their four children on national TV, are quick to credit the success of their rapidly-growing empire to their Christian faith and God's blessing on their lives.
"Our family has made a commitment to put Christ first, a lifestyle our parents modeled for us very well. They showed us how to keep our marriage and family centered around God," Chip told the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
In a 2016 "I Am Second" video, the couple further shared how their relationship with one another mirrors Christ's love for His people - and how their faith drives everything they do.
In fact, after they came under fire from LGBT activists for their church's opposition to same-sex marriage, Joanna said that she and Chip are grateful for God's faithfulness and protection - no matter what obstacles they may face.
"We've always strived to serve and love people from all walks of life, regardless of who you are or what you do," she wrote. "We are in the restoration business. Our job is to find beauty in all things, whether it's an old house or someone's story."
She added, "We are thankful for this ride of a lifetime- we feel God has been with us on every mountain top and in every valley. Grace upon grace He has given us."
