"Duck Dynasty" star Sadie Robertson is preparing to once again walk the runway at New York Fashion Week to promote her new line of "daddy-approved" prom dresses with designer Sherri Hill.

The 18-year-old model and author recently took to Instagram to express her excitement regarding the upcoming event, sharing a picture from last year along with the caption: "throwback to New York fashion week - I'm so excited its exactly one month from today until I walk the runway again."

Last year, Sadie modeled two beautiful gowns from her line during fashion week. At the time, she shared photos from the event and included the caption: "So extremely blessed to be a Sherri Hill model & get to walk in New York fashion week. Praising God for all the many opportunities. ALL glory to God. Walking for him!"

The gowns in the Sherri Hill collection, which are suitable for prom and other formal events, are not only beautiful, but also modest, as a reflection of Sadie's Christian values, as previously noted by the Gospel Herald. In "Duck Dynasty" Season 3 "Duck Be a Lady" episode, Willie Robertson, Sadie's father, stressed the importance of modesty, even for formal wear - "We need full coverage," he said. In response, Sadie later took it upon herself to make a "Daddy-Approved" line of prom dresses with Sherri Hill - and the rest is history.

While the "Live Original" author has enjoyed modeling the gorgeous gowns, her experience at New York Fashion week hasn't always been pleasant.

In an excerpt from her book released last year, Willie and Korie's daughter revealed that during her first year at New York Fashion Week, she received harsh treatment from many of the models.

"Many of them did not say a single word back to me," she wrote about when she first arrived backstage at the tents and greeted the models with "Hey y'all!" according to Fox News. "They just looked at me like they had icicles in their eyes," she added. The "uncomfortable" situation left her feeling awkward and unwelcomed.

"(They) were from places like Russia and other European countries," the Louisiana teen wrote, "They were pretty obsessed with their weight, so instead of having snacks or treats, they smoked cigarettes and drank coffee.

She recalled,"They were quiet, and they seemed either sad or kind of angry."

Instead of letting herself become intimidated, the young model was able to rely on her own confidence, which she says comes from her strong faith. "They cared way too much about their outward appearance," she wrote. "Confidence is an inside thing. I could have totally lost it over the comments people made and the icy looks they gave me, but I didn't. God has been training me all my life... to be strong and confident."

In addition to her work in the fashion industry, Sadie will also make her acting debut in "God's Not Dead 2: He's Surely Alive," which is a follow up to 2014 Christian drama "God's Not Dead," which featured an appearance by her parents. The film is scheduled for released in 2016.
