The Duck Dynasty series has taken a permanent hiatus from reality TV after 11 long seasons, and that is to be expected. After all, it can get really tiring, and reality TV is very different from other types of TV series where you can recast the same character with a different actor or actresses. However, if there is one thing that reality TV is missing, it is the fact that none of these shows have survived to the point where a particular star of a show dies on screen from illness or old age, although it would be unwise to rule that out from happening some time in the future. Another interesting thing is, why not take a break for a year after the 6th season so that the 8th season (skipping the 7th) will see everyone refreshed? That is just some thinking on my side to follow the Biblical cycle when it concerns ancient crops harvesting. Well, with some of the stars of Duck Dynasty appearing on Pro-Am, it is somewhat akin to welcoming back old friends, don’t you think so? Enjoy them on TV once again while it lasts, as nothing is permanent in this world.
Duck Dynasty, the hit TV show on the A&E network, ground to a halt earlier this March after a gruelling 11 seasons. If you thought that you no longer had an opportunity to catch glimpses of the Duck Commander crew, fret not. This summer, Willie Robertson, Jase Robertson and Justin Martin will make a return to The Greenbrier Classic in order to take part in the hugely popular Wednesday Pro-Am. Jase Robertson and Justin Martin actually made the effort to trek it all the way to America’s Resort in 2014, while Willie Robertson, who is the Duck Commander CEO, took the trouble to join with their co-stars on The Old White TPC Course for The Greenbrier Classic in 2015. On both occasions, it was no surprise that their presence end up drawing huge galleries of loyal fans, with some even arriving in their camouflage garb for one simple reason -- to get closer to their favorite stars.
Habibi Mamone, executive tournament director for The Greenbrier Classic, shared, “The Duck Dynasty stars have been incredibly supportive of our tournament, and we’re thrilled to have them back. The Wednesday Pro-Am is really a fun event for both participants and fans, and we know everybody loves seeing Willie, Jase and Justin out on the course. We’re looking forward to an exciting day.”
Golfing fans or celebrity hunters, all are welcome to take the chance to get up close and personal with golfers as well as celebrities alike in The Greenbrier Classic Wednesday Pro-Am. In order to do so, all that you have to go through is to register for your free grounds badges at greenbrierclassic.com. These badges will be complimentary, but as with many free things in the world, supplies will be limited. The proverb of the early bird getting the early worm holds true here, so you might want to register now in order to reserve your spot. As with many other things in life, there is an opportunity to have an upgraded experience by forking out money for the Springhouse or Clubhouse badges. Some of the perks with these badges include air conditioned seating, private bathrooms, food, and drinks, among others.
It is nice to see the Duck Dynasty stars do their bit to bring more audience to the galleries for the Pro-Am event. After all, there is nothing quite like spending a nice, spring day out in the sun, hanging out with people whom you love.
