Michael Moore is working on a new documentary centered on President Donald Trump titled “Fahrenheit 11/9." The movie’s title signifies the date when Trump was elected as U.S. president; it is also a play on Moore’s contemptuous 2004 film about former president George W. Bush and the war in Iraq- “Fahrenheit 9/11.”

Michael Moore has been making the necessary preparations for “Fahrenheit 11/9” in the past months but have kept things in private, as reported by Variety. He hopes the upcoming movie will strongly seep through Trump’s seemingly thick and dense shield. "No matter what you throw at him, it hasn't worked," Moore explained. "No matter what is revealed, he remains standing. Facts, reality, brains cannot defeat him. Even when he commits a self-inflicted wound, he gets up the next morning and keeps going and tweeting. That all ends with this movie."

Last June, Michael Moore made a correct prediction that Trump would win the presidential election by raking in many votes from the states of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. Moore is set to collaborate once more with Bob and Harvey Weinstein, who also worked as producers for “Fahrenheit 9/11.” The Weinstein pair is reportedly set to shop the movie to buyers at the Cannes Film Festival that has begun today, May 17th.

Bob and Harvey Weinstein have already acquired worldwide rights for the movie under the Fellowship Adventure Group. Michael Moore and the Weinsteins bagged a major hit with “Fahrenheit 9/11” after the film raked in the Palme D’or at Cannes and became the highest-grossing documentary in history. It also garnered a 20-minute standing ovation during its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. “There is no greater part of what we can do right now than to have the power to bring [Michael] Moore to a mass audience,” the Weinsteins stated.

The pair also shared how they deeply appreciated their work on “Fahrenheit 9/11” that it came to a point when they parted ways with Disney. They also lost Miramax that was named after their parents, simply because they strongly believed in the message of the film. “The movie broke all records then, and we plan to do so again. This movie will have one of the most innovative distribution plans ever,” the duo added. “Now more than ever, Michael’s appetite for the truth is crucial. We are ecstatic to be a part of this revolution.”

“Fahrenheit 11/9” will be Moore’s second movie project revolving around Trump; in 2016, he released a surprise feature film titled “Michael Moore in TrumpLand.” The movie documented Moore’s live show performed in Wilmington, Ohio that ended up crushingly voting for Trump.

Aside from “Fahrenheit 11/9,” Moore is also getting ready for his debut on Broadway- “The Terms of My Surrender.” According to a press release for the show, it was described as a “ride through the United States of Insanity”.” Tony-winning helmer Michael Mayer will be directing the show; previews are set to begin on July 28 while the show will officially open starting August 10.
