The long wait is over. After months of speculation, Bethesda will launch new DLCs for Fallout 4. The game developer has announced the details of the three expansion pack releases. Find out the latest news about the Fallout 4 DLC including its release date, price, and features.
Fallout 4 will have new expansion packs in March, April, and May, available as bundle for those who have purchased the Season Pass. Together with the DLC release date revelation, Bethesda announced some price changes for the Season pass. From $40, the Fallout 4 premium package will be priced at $60 starting March 1. In other words, gamers who will get the Season Pass before March 1 will get a $20 discount.
"This is our way of saying thanks to all our loyal fans who have believed in us and supported us over the years," Bethesda wrote on their official website.
As for the details of promised DLCs, the March content is "Automatron," and it has a price of $9.99. The expansion features an army of evil robots across the Commonwealth. Players have to defeat this robotic army and their boss -- The Mechanist. In order to do that, players have to make their customized robotic force.
For interested gamers who want to try the closed beta of the Autmatron DLC, sign-up to this website. Bethesda will be selecting lucky applicants in the next couple of weeks, and qualified players will get a code to redeem the new content.
The "Wasteland Workshop" is the second expansion pack of the Fallout 4. It is scheduled to be available on April. Compare to the Automatron, this DLC is a smaller add-on that'll cost $6. This pack will let players and design and set cages to capture live creatures, just like a Pokémon game.
Finally, the biggest update is called "Far Harbor", and it will arrive on May. Available for $24.99, this expansion pack will allow players to explore the Coast of Maine. Moreover, it will come complete with all-new quests, settlements, lethal creatures and dungeons. There is also new, higher-level armor and weapons.
We are expecting to hear more from Bethesda at their second E3 presentation on 12 June. The game developer will reveal more information about their plans for Fallout 4 on the said event.
