Square Enix is now gearing up to release Final Fantasy 15 on September this year. To tease fans, the developer released screenshots that provide a closer look to the game's new characters. Interested buyers can now pre-order Final Fantasy 15 at Square Enix online store, Game and Amazon.

DualShockers posted some of the screenshots that are also published in Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu. One of the clips features Iris Amicitia, who has a resemblance to Final Fantasy 7's Yuffie. We also see Noctis and his crew fighting monster in a field. In addition, Square Enix posted a video on Youtube that features epic train battle. It involves Noctis who teleports from the roof of a train car into a hover ship to attack enemies inside.

The video, entitled "Carbuncle's Surprise", also announces Square Enix's promotional contest, where players have a chance to win awesome prizes like exclusive DLC and Xbox One consoles.

The promo, which is from Aug. 1 to Sept. 30, is open for anyone who pre-orders Final Fantasy 15. Winners will be selected every Friday until the game's release on the end of September. Winners will receive Final Fantasy action figures, customized Xbox One consoles, Final Fantasy apparel, a full entertainment system, exclusive DLC, and even an Audi sedan.

As for the gameplay of Final Fantasy 15, the battles happen in a robust 3D environment, where characters can jump and run freely. Players have a variety of weapons to select. Additionally, there is a night and day system that syncs to the gameplay. One hour of playing time is equivalent to one day in the game. Creatures that appear also depend on the time of the day.

Game Rant reported Final Fantasy 15 is a big RPG game that includes 40-50 hour long story campaign. At this year's E3, gamers witnessed some of the its exciting features, such as massive boss battle and chocobo riding.

Square Enix is expected to release Final Fantasy XV on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For Windows users, the developers said the game's PC version might come later.

"Unfortunately we weren't able to do simultaneous development on a PC and console version for XV." Director Hajime Tabata said in an interview with Engadget,

We expect Square Enix will release more information about the game in the next few weeks. Stick with us for more tech news.
