While many of us save up for our device purchases when Black Friday rolls around, this does not mean that companies do not introduce price cuts for their catalogue of existing products before that. Today, we shall look at two items on the list that most people ought to own: the Fitbit Versa 2 and the Fitbit Versa Lite.
The Fitbit Versa 2 has just been made available at a discount for its lowest price to date, at least until Black Friday arrives. Who knows? The sticker price tag might fall even further, although we would not take our chances that such a thing will happen.
Those who happen to live in the UK might want to forget about all the Brexit blues for a moment by looking to snag a Fitbit Versa 2 at a bargain. Amazon is carrying the Versa 2 smartwatch for £172.13, which is a £27.86 discount off the original price point. If you simply cannot wait until Black Friday and would not like to take your chances, now would be the best time to pick up the Fitbit Versa 2. After all, you can buy yourself a nice meal or save up for something else as opposed to forking out £199.99 for this fitness watch.
In the past, the Fitbit Versa 2 might have seen a temporary price drop, although during the two occurences, the lowered price point lasted for less than 24 hours which points to a pricing error as opposed to a purposeful discount on the retailer's part. The Fitbit Versa 2 is certainly a high performing fitness smartwatch with Alexa stealing the show, although there were other improvements in terms of design and software that thrust the Versa 2 right to the top of many a fitness enthusiast's purchase wish list.
As for the far more affordable Fitbit Versa Lite, this basic fitness smartwatch would see its price point drop to under the magical $100 mark. Of course, the $99.96 price tag will be a rare find anytime between now and Black Friday, taking into consideration how when it was released earlier this year, the Versa Lite cost $160 apiece. This fitness-centric smartwatch was also sold for a song on Amazon previously with a 20% discount, and chances are you won't be able to find it sold at a price lower than this in the immediate future.
For a Benjamin, you will find that the Fitbit Versa Lite is a very capable device as it will also be able to keep track of your sleep quality. Needless to say, the "Lite" suffix translates to some missing features that can be found on the standard Versa and Versa 2 offerings. It will not come with on-board music storage, lack a gyroscope, and neither can it provide an indication of whether it is going to rain or not with the omission of a barometric pressure sensor. However, do not worry about bringing it for your swimming sessions or running in the rain since it is equally swim-proof as its more expensive brethren.
Which would you go for at the moment with these low price tags?
