Earlier this month, Netflix gave the sitcom "Fuller House" the go-signal for a second season. But, aside from the return of the show, it seems producer John Stamos is also trying to get Mary-Kate and Ashley Olson to appear in the series.

When the first season of the show debut in February, fans of the original "Full House" were expecting to see a lot of the cast members from the late 1980s and early 90s program to make a comeback. They certainly were not disappointed after seeing main stars Candace Cameron Bure, Bob Saget, Stamos and Andrea Barber reprise their roles for the sequel series.

However, probably the cast members fans were looking forward to seeing on the new show are the Olsen twins, who took turns playing Michelle Tanner in the original program. But, despite pleas from fans and the production team, the popular twins never appeared in the first season of "Fuller House."

This, however, could change once season two rolls in. Based on recent reports, it seems Stamos is starting to get the Olsen twins back on the show, Cinemablend has learned.

Rumors about their return started after the producer posted a video on his Instagram account for Throwback Thursday. The clip was from the set of "Full House" and showed Stamos playing with the adorable Olsen twin and asking them to say his name.

Aside from TBT, other hashtags of the clip included Fullerhouse and MkAshley, which sort of serve like silent pleas to get the two stars to join the new show.

Also, before Stamos uploaded the clip, he previously revealed that he's trying to convince the twins, or at least one of them to make an appearance in the second season of "Fuller House."

"They're totally welcome," he said about the Olsen's possible return according to Hollywood Take. "I was going to see Ashley last night and beg her to be on the show. I have a good feeling about it."

As for the twins, the two haven't appeared in television or film projects since they were teenagers. Apparently, they have moved away from their careers as actresses to focus on their fashion business. This is one of the reasons why they declined to be on the show's first season.

But hopefully, the two will be moved by Stamos' pleas and finally agree to join "Fuller House" season 2.
