Though Game of Thrones Season 6 release date is unknown, rumors and potential plot spoilers continually surface on the web. Currently, the latest gossip suggests that Jon Snow may not be staying dead. The Bastard of Winterfell was seemingly killed off during the previous season finale, much to the dismay of fans. Also, actor Isaac Hempstead-Wright will rejoin the cast after a long period of absence.

Season Six Premiere Date Prediction

HBO has yet to announce when Game of Thrones Season 6 will debut, even though the premiere date is expected to be in 2016. For now, the best means to gauge a release date is to look at release dates for previous seasons.

Since its first season premiere, Game of Thrones has consistently aired at around early April. The only season to deviate from this schedule was season three, which debuted on March 31, 2013. So, it is safe to assume that the sixth season will be released in April 2016.

Jon Snow Actor Rumored to Be in Northern Ireland

An individual resembling actor Kit Harrington was spotted not far from a Game of Thrones shoot location in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Tuesday.  The British star is better known for his portrayal of Jon Snow.

The following day, tabloid Daily Mail published a set of photos showing the alleged Harrington sporting a pair of horn-rimmed glasses. He had his hair tied back, and hidden under a dark hooded jacket in order to alter appearances. The mystery man also shared a cordial conversation with Game of Thrones actor Ben Compton, who plays Edison Tollett.

This led to speculation that some scenes with Jon Snow may be included into Season Six. It is not clear whether Harrington is part of a flashback sequence or will be have a more active role in future episodess. The TV adaptation has not been entirely faithful to its original book source. So, anything is possible.

Still, even U.S. President of the United States Barack Obama seems concerned for the apparent demise of Jon Snow.

"I was the in the company of the President of the United States," GoT director David Nutter told EW at San Diego Comic-Con 2015. "He turned to me, put his hand on my shoulder, and said, 'You didn't kill Jon Snow did you?' I said, 'Jon Snow is deader than dead.' I thought I was going to be sent to Guantanamo or something, but fortunately I'm here - but he's dead."

Bran Stark Returns

Recently, Isaac Hempstead-Wright confirmed that he was coming back to Game of Thrones after being absent from the fifth season. The young actor is better known as Bran Stark, second youngest son in the Stark Clan.

"I can't say a lot but I am back this season, and it's going to get particularly interesting with Bran. He has some interesting visions," Hempstead-Wright told the Irish Examiner over a week ago. The 12-year-old actor also admitted that he has not seen Season Five of Games of Thrones.

"I missed the whole of the last season because it was right in the middle of my exams, so I didn't have the time to watch it," he explained. "But I'm looking forward to getting with some friends and binge-watching it all.

Bran was last seen during his quest to find the Three-Eyed Raven. Though successful, the character subsequently vanished in Season Five.
