The highly anticipated sixth season of HBO's "Game of Thrones" has already kicked off and fans of the series were finally updated on what's happening in Westeros. And, aside from the continuation of the events from season 5, viewers can expect new changes as well in the show's characters.

One of these is Daenerys Targaryen, played by Emilia Clarke. According to the actress, the latest installment in the "Game of Thrones" saga could be the most spoiler-free season yet primarily because it follows entirely new material.

In other words, unlike the previous seasons, this one doesn't follow the narration of George R.R. Martin's series of books "A Song of Ice and Fire," which means readers can't read ahead to see what will happen in the upcoming episodes.

For this reason, cast members of the series as well as those involved in the production have been very secretive regarding what viewers can expect this season, even though they've been wanting to divulge what they have learned after reading through the scripts.

Despite this, Clarke was still able to give a few hints regarding the future of her character without spoiling the series.

According to her, fans can expect to see a very different Daenerys this season.

"It's a really fascinating season for everyone but especially for Daenerys," she told Mirror. "She's on quite a journey and I feel like every season I talk about how much she's learned but with this season it's not so much that she learned anything new but that she finally has an opportunity to put everything she's ever learned into play."

"When we last saw her she was completely alone on her own and now she's been landed in this area that's alien to her and she's forced to use all of the resources she has found within herself and it's pretty impressive," the actress added.

Clarke also went on to say that her character will be more determined this season in fulfilling her goal.

As for the television series, the first episode of the sixth season, titled "The Red Woman," premiered on April 24. Its follow-up, titled "Home," will come out on May 1.
