GTA 5 Online Heists DLC Release Date Update With Possible Casino and New Missions, GTA 6 Release Date

Is this is what is in store for GTA V players?

Ever since the release of the Online Heists DLC (albeit late), players of Grand Theft Auto (GTA) V have a lot to do.  Recent rumors have shown that there are other missions on the way, as well as more items to purchase as well as a casino.  This leads to speculation on when GTA VI will come out.

According to iDigitalTimes, there is a GTA V leaker named funmw2, who is known to leak updates that are accurate.  Funmw2, along with another reliable GTA V leaker named DomisLive, shared some thoughts about new missions that will be written for Franklin, Trevor, and Michael.  There will be 23 missions as well as 12 new Assassination missions that will be unlocked, and these missions will supposedly unlock a new map to a city known as "Clifford".

Another rumor of what is coming to Online Heists is Casino Heists.  We have reported before about how there could be a Casino in GTA V.  Funmw2 has tweets that have since been deleted that reveal lines of codes for gambling, a lottery, and other casino action.  Some of these casino games would be minigames like Blackjack, Poker, Roulette, and Slots.

I don't like to report any kind of news that would be premature, but I think that a casino is definitely on the horizon for GTA V.  The logic of it is obvious.  What good is getting all that reward if you can't spend it?  Speaking of spending, Rockstar games has released an image that you see here with a very fancy car and an elaborately decorated gun.  Does this mean that there will be more toys that players of GTA V can buy?  It sure looks like it.

Another thing that is for sure on the horizon for GTA is GTA VI.  Considering that it hasn't even been two years since the launch of GTA V, it might be a bit too early.  The Franchise Herald says that it will probably be released in between 2018 and 2020, which is quite a few years away.  Rockstar president Leslie Benzies assures fans that the company does have a long term plan for the gaming franchise series, and has "about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do".

On what looks to be an unofficial site for GTA 6, many have speculated a release date for GTA 6 to be sometime in 2018, at the earliest.  There has been long stretches of time in between versions with the least being two years and the most being 7 years.  A five year gap is about average of those two, so why not?  Keep in mind that the Sony PlayStation and Xbox version will probably be next-gen by then, so GTA 6 should be compatible with the PS5 and Xbox...whatever.  Also, whatever Nintendo has should also be designed to play GTA 6, if the big N wants to stay in business in the next decade.

Some other fan demands would be a strong female protagonist, because the role of women has been criticized in the game.  That female protagonist seems to be a very big demand, so that probably will happen.  Fans are also demanding that the game should have a look of taking place within the 70's, as well as a new city and more missions to explore.

Rumors of what would be in GTA 6 abound.  Some have suggested that it could take place in London, as opposed to the fictional Vice Cities in America.

Whatever the case, fans will have to wait a long time before GTA 6 is out.  Until then, GTA V players will have to see if the rumors of a casino plus more toys will be given to them.
