There are a lot of rumors that are going around in regards with GTA 6. The fact that Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive have not said anything is also fueling the spread of the rumors among the fans who are hungry for updates.

GTA 6 Release Date

Almost none of the speculation regarding the game has been confirmed so far. But that hasn't stopped the rumors from coming about what people can expect from the next Grand Theft Auto game. One of the favorite topics among the fans of the game is the possible release date of the new installment. People have been wondering about that since Grand Theft Auto V was released a few years ago.

Fans already expect that GTA 6 would take a few years before it made its appearance. Rockstar Games has made a reputation out of releasing very polished games which obviously takes a great deal of time to develop.

There are those saying that the game would be announced by this year and that its release date would be sometime in 2018. But Rockstar announced Red Dead Redemption 2 instead and so fans accepted that the release of GTA 6 would have to pushed back.

Another common topic among fans is the map for the game since it is known that the story for the previous offerings in the franchise were largely based on it locations. Some rumors state that the next GTA installment would be set in a different country. There is a strong possibility that could be true since there was already a GTA game that's set in another country; Grand Theft Auto: London 1969. That game was released in 1999.

There is also a strong possibility that the game would be based in the United States. That's what Rockstar has been doing with their fictional cities like Los Santos and Vice City based on real-life American cities. Some are saying that the game would be set in Chicago.

Other GTA 6 Rumors

There are plenty of other rumors going around regarding GTA 6. Some of those speculations are about the protagonists in the game. Since the last installment in the franchise already used multiple playable characters, there is a good chance that GTA 6 would have the same development when it comes to characters. That would make the game a lot more engaging.

Because of the popularity of the GTA franchise, fans can expect more rumors to come out in the future.
