During the offseason, the NBA community saw how the Golden State Warriors were able to further improve its roster by signing Kevin Durant. But according to by Hall of Famer David Robinson and the former center for the San Antonio Spurs, the Warriors will not be able to maintain their super-team status.

The legendary athlete admitted that given the Golden State organization's current lineup, the team will most likely do well in the next couple of seasons. However, as noted by Robinson, the Warriors' success in the NBA wouldn't last that long primarily due to the number of superstars they have on their roster.

To prove his point, Robinson likened the current Warriors to the previous setup of the Miami Heat, back when the team was led by LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. During the time of the Big 3, Miami was the top team to beat in the NBA, Fox Sports reported.

However, when James left to join the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Heat started to crumble. As noted by Robinson, the Warriors could end up going down the same path a couple of years from now. That's because keeping a roster featuring Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Durant intact would be very expensive for any team in the league.

"It takes time, you look at what happened with LeBron, Wade and Bosh," Robinson told Complex. "It took them a year or two to get their legs underneath them and figure things out and even then that run was relatively short."

"So if you're able to put together a team like this, you're going to have a short window because you can't pay all those guys to keep them together," he added. "There's the short window that's going to end relatively quickly and it's not as easy as going out to play."

Robinson is not the first person to offer his insight about the future of the Warriors. Other have also predicted the team's demise because of their strong lineup. Aside from the financial aspect of the situations, others are speculating that the superstars' ego would clash eventually, which could then lead to a rift within the team.

Hopefully, the Golden State organization will be able to properly handle its team and players as they head into the 2016-2017 NBA season.
