Matthew 18:3 "'Truly I tell you,' He said, 'unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.'"

One little girl has captured the hearts of thousands after her parents shared a tender video of the toddler counting her blessings and praying for those she loves.

Kathryn and Caleb Whitt, a Christian couple from Seneca, South Carolina, were rushing to get their daughter, Sutton, in bed on Sunday night when they skipped over the ritual of bedtime prayers.

The couple told Fox News that they decided to forego the nightly routine so they could cheer on the Panthers in the NFC championship game. While watching the game, they began hearing funny noises coming from upstairs.

After turning on the baby monitor, they were shocked to see their 2-year-old daughter reciting her prayers all by herself.

In the sweet video, which the couple shared to Facebook, Sutton thoughtfully calls out the names of the people she's praying for and says thanks many times. The tot mentions everyone from her grandma to her parents to even Santa Claus. Before finishing her prayers, Sutton mentions her parents again, and finishes with an enthusiastic "Amen!".

"We didn't do the prayers and didn't think anything of it," Kathryn told ABC. "We then heard on the monitor that she just decided to do them on her own. We were amazed by it because she usually rushes through the prayers. We'll have to say 'OK Sutton, say thank you for this person and that person,' but as you see on the video, she was naming everybody."

"I was just shocked at her age that she wanted to think through everyone she wanted to pray for," she added.

Kathryn said the response has been overwhelming, as thousands of people have sent her messages saying the video touched their hearts.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the  Facebook, video had been liked by over 340,000 people and shared by another 27, 986 people.

"You should be very proud!! Your children are a reflection of you!!! I can't believe you are old enough to be a mommy but you are doing a great job!!!" wrote one woman.

"Thank you, as parents, for setting this Godly example for her. I can tell she has gained all of this through everyday upbringing. I love all of you so much," added another.

"This is so precious. From the mouth of babes. This should be kept forever," wrote another.

This week, Sutton joined her mother at work, where a number of people asked for her autograph.

"She knows she is part of something big, but doesn't know exactly what," Kathryn said, "We're overwhelmed, but we are definitely enjoying it."
