Finally, those who have been looking forward to seeing the Honda Civic 2016 on the show floor will be getting their wishes as the LX and certain EX-models are available to drive off the lot.  Here is everything that has been released so far with the Honda Civic 2016 Sedans with Release Date, Specs, and Prices for LX, EX, EX-L, EX-T, and Touring Editions.

According to 2016 Cars Reviews, the new generation of the Honda Civic will be "even greater than you thought".  The new model for 2016 will be improved, refreshed, and redesigned, and it will be available in three different models:  wagon, sedan, and hatchback.  The front fascia and bumper have a new look, and there are newly designed LED headlights and daytime running lights.

As for the interior, it will have a terrific audio and electric system, a radar and navigation system, as well as a panoramic roof.  There will also be a 7-inch touchscreen display and Bluetooth connectivity, and it will have the Civic's split-level dash, which Honda enthusiasts either admire or despise.  The Civic's steering wheel has a useful touch-capacitive control for better control of the driving experience.

If you go to Honda's website, it used to be that "The Future of the Civic Family" was in shadows, but now it looks like the cars have stepped out and more has been revealed.  The following is a list of the individual models, and the LX should be available for purchase at your local Honda dealer while certain models of the EX and Touring editions are not yet available.

According to Cars Direct, the MSRP for each vehicle trim is a bit higher than what the Honda site claims to be the starting price.  The specs also vary as anything with a 2.0 Liter engine will get you 138 hp, while the 1.5 Liter Turbocharged DOHC will get 174 hp.

  • EX-L:  Leather is the word for this version as it has Leather Trimmed Seats and Leather-Wrapped Steering Wheel and Shift Knob.  The Driver's Seat has an 8-way Power Adjustment, and there is an Automatic Dimming Rearview Mirror.  The EX-L CVT 1.5 Liter Turbo has a price range of $23,700-$24,535.
  • EX-T:  This version has a 1.5 Liter Turbocharged and Intercooled DOHC 4-Cylinder engine, Dual-Zone Automatic Climate Control System, Heated Front Seats, plus Sirius XM Radio and HD Radio.  It has a slightly boosted City/Highway Rating at 31/42 mpg, which is the same as the remaining versions.  This EX-T CVT 1.5 liter Turbo has a price range of $22,000-$23,035.
  • Touring:  This edition has LED headlights, Heated Outboard Rear Seats, Front Passenger's Seat wit 4-Way Power Adjustment, Rain-Sensing Windshield Wipers, and 450-Watt Premium Audio System with 10 speakers, including a subwoofer.  The cost range of the Touring CVT with 1.5 Liter Turbo is approximately $26,500-$27,335.
