Last December, the first teaser trailer of the House of Cards 4 was presented. The ad interrupted a real-life Republican political debate on CNN on Dec. 15.

When House of Cards season 3 ended, many viewers wonder what would happen between Frank Underwood and Claire Underwood. In the final moments of the last season, Claire announced that she will leave Frank's side. She told Frank that she is not going with him to New Hampshire. Afterwards, she walked away from her husband. The surprising turn of events has led to a lot of speculations from viewers for the upcoming season.

There have been rumors claiming that Claire Underwood will not really leave Frank's side, but she will present a united front to the public. On another hand, there are also speculations that Claire will not only leave Frank in the next season, but she will decide to go against her husband in the upcoming elections.

Frank is always victorious when it comes to crushing down his opponents and muting dissenting voices, but now, he might deal with a real challenge that can put him down. Claire is no different from him when it comes to power play, plus she knows him very well.

"Claire and Frank's separation will be a public one. She will have to figure out what her next move is, and see if she can make it on her own. Will she seek office in her own right? Return to the nonprofit world?" Scriptwriter Beau Willimon told The Hollywood Reporter.

The writer added that they had faced many challenges while developing the plot of the story. They make sure that characters grow and evolve in every season by going deeper into their conflicts.

House of Cards season 4 will be streaming on Netflix on March 4, 2016.
