The Cardinals earned their tickets to the NFC Championship when they won 26-20 against the Green Bay Packers.  For the Panthers, they defeated surging Seahawks team with the final score of 31-24 last weekend.

Now, they will battle for the NFC supremacy; let's see who will reign victorious.

According to Sports Illustrated, the Arizona Cardinals is one of NFL's best scoring teams. The team is packed with talented players. The aerial attack plays of Carson Palmer and Bruce Arians are big threat for opposing teams.

Palmer is still the ace player of the team. In order to win against the Panthers, he'll have to play better than he did in the insane wild-card win against the Packers. During that game, he made 25 of 41 passes for 349 yards, three touchdowns and two picks.

Furthermore, it is interesting to see what Larry Fitzgerald would do for the Cardinals, as this could be his last opportunity to win a Super Bowl. The quarterback has also an opportunity to be included in the NFL history books. He only needs two postseason touchdowns to be tied for the second-most playoff touchdowns in NFL history.

As the road team in the upcoming matchup, many would assume that Arizona Cardinals is at a disadvantage. However, the team proved that they are dominant on the road this season. SB Nation reported that the Cardinals were 6-2 at home but 7-1 on the road this current season.

On other hand, Carolina Panthers has effective rushing attacks. Their quarterback Cam Newton has 3,207 rushing yards and 43 rushing touchdowns, and he did it just five years. Then, add the contributions of fullback Mike Tolbert who has a rushing style that seems to be unstoppable.  In addition, running back Jonathan Stewart and his tremendous speed is a big lift for the Panthers.

Stewart made 989 yards in 13 games, and then missed three with an injury. In a game against Seahawks, he had 106 yards and two touchdowns. Stewart is capable of helping the Panthers to defeat the Cardinals on Sunday, Yahoo Sports published.

Newton also needs to have a big game. He has been phenomenal all year, and it's arguable he is the centerpiece of the Panthers' offense.
