Scheduled at 8:30 pm ET, the Indianapolis Colts will enter the field at 3 - 2 this NFL season while the New England Patriots have a record of 4 - 0.

Although the return of Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is yet to be officially confirmed by the NFL team, the decision to let go of backup Josh Johnson is taken as a telling sign pointing to the possibility of Tom Brady facing off against the two-time Pro Bowl star. It could be recalled that the injury incurred by Andrew Luck in the game of the Indianapolis Colts against the Tennessee Titans prompted the former to take on Josh Johnson as an emergency backup quarterback for the then main man Matt Hasslebeck. With sources claiming that Andrew Luck is heading for a relatively speedy recovery, the Indianapolis Colts might feel that the presence of Josh Johnson may no longer be necessary.

"It feels better every day," shared Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck, referring to the recovery of his shoulder, according to Indianapolis Star. The Pro Bowler went on to share, "It was great to go through practice without limitations, in a sense, and get out there and throw. It was better."

For his part, Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano merely disclosed that Andrew Luck has been "great" during the practice sessions. Sources shared that the practices had both Andrew Luck and Matt Hasslebeck practically doing the same drills - an information that might indicate the uncertainty of the Indianapolis Colts on the recovery of the star quarterback.

Meanwhile, the Indianapolis Colts signed Marcus Thigpen following the exit of Josh Johnson. Reports indicate that the newly minted Indianapolis Colts star had stints in other NFL teams such as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins. Moreover, Marcus Thigpen even spent some time in the New England Patriots locker room prior to getting signed in the Indianapolis Colts' squad.
