International 'Little Angels' Flock to Taiwan

From Feb 1 thru Feb 3, Taiwan Hsinchu Erchongfu Presbyterian Church hosted the international ‘Little Angel Life Adventure’ for children. 105 Children, ages 4 to 12, from various nations attended the gathering. In addition, the church invited eight foreign teachers hailing from the United States, Singapore, South Africa, India, Tanzania, Malawi, and Madagascar. The program included the cultural banquet, story-telling session, butterfly dances and illustrations of life. Throughout the retreat, kids gave positive responses to every program event, and connected well with the foreign teachers. One worker said that the atmosphere was filled with happiness and festivity.

After three days, church ministry workers expressed hopes that the kids will have opportunities to enter church to hear the stories of Jesus Christ, to understand that there are some people who care and love them, and to remember that good memories in theirs lives will help them grow into better workers for God.

Survey: Hong Kong teens generally identify with traditional Chinese cultural values

In order an effort to promote traditional Chinese culture, the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong, in collaboration with Macao YMCA, Guangzhou Suigang'ao Teenagers Institute, and the Teacher Chang Foundation of Taiwan, has conducted a survey on teens measuring their cultural awareness. They found that Hong Kong youths generally identify with and support the values of traditional Chinese culture.
