Along with Princess Kate Middleton's pregnancy, rumors have also been spreading of the couple's marital trouble when Kate did not accompany Prince William on his royal visit to Germany. Kate reportedly stayed at home instead to take care of their children Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

As next in line to the throne, Prince William regularly visits different countries as part of his royal duties. On Kensington Palace's official statement, it was said that Prince William went to Germany to attend the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the North-Rhine Westphalia (NRW). This is not the first time that Kate missed a royal visit.

As to Kate's absence in Germany, it was said that Kensington Palace forbade her from attending the event as she was expected to travel with Prince William to Canada two months after the NRW event, which was last September.

On the royal family's visit to Canada, Kate arrived in a fitted smart casual dress. And while the slim Kate showed off her figure, the pregnancy speculations continued to speculate. With the couple visiting Vancouver, Bella Bella, and the Yukon, people got mixed reactions on Kate, saying that it looked like she was pregnant on some photos.

The pregnancy rumor is further fueled by a previous statement of the royal couple, saying that they "want a third baby soon." A family friend further revealed that "It would not surprise me if (she) was pregnant by Christmas."

Baby rumors have been around since July this year when the royal couple attended the Battle of the Somme vigil that month, which remains an important event in British history, dubbed as the "defining battled of the First World War." It was not surprising that many in the media were present. People noticed that Kate kept on holding her clutch over her stomach throughout the event, and she wore a slightly oversized coat, with a zigzag pattern. Her choice of clothes was a surprise for many knowing that Kate is known for her fitted dresses.
