"Jill & Jessa: Counting On" star Jana Duggar has revealed that she's not actively looking for a dating relationship, but if she were, she would seek out out the advice of her twin, John-David.

During Tuesday's episode of Jill and Jessa: Counting On, Jana, 26, revealed she would trust her brother to help her find a husband.

"John would be great at finding somebody. He has a lot of wisdom in that area," said Jana. "I'll give him advice. He'll give me advice. Guys know guys better. Girls know girls better. It's kind of nice because we can just help each other out in that way."

On last week's episode, the eldest Duggar daughter, who has been linked to Christian NFL star Tim Tebow in the past, also said she's waiting for "the right man" to come along.

"There have been different guys come along and ask, but they haven't been the right one. It's just one of those things," she said. "I'm not just out to get married to the first one who comes along."

However, she clarified that she's not spending her time pining away for a relationship: "[I'm] just being busy with where God has me right now, and being content in this place, and learning as much as I can, and just going on with life," she said.

She also expressed her realistic views on a potential spouse, remarking to People Magazine, "You're not going to marry a 'perfect' person; we aren't perfect ourselves!"

John-David, 26, admitted he has pretty high standards when it comes to potential suitors for his sister, but said he would consider any man she expressed interest in.

He added that he's also unsure of what's in store for himself in the dating department: "I don't know what I'm looking for really," John-David said. "I'm looking for the one."

Three of Jana and John-David's siblings - Josh, Jill and Jessa - are married, with children of their own. Duggar children and their spouses typically marry quite young; all three tied the knot under the age of 24. Anna Duggar, Josh's wife, married her husband when she was just 19 years old.

Instead of dating, Duggar children "court." During the courtship period, possible mates spend time together with family members there to supervise, never alone. As physical parameters are also conservative: hand-holding is allowed, but kissing is is reserved for the wedding day.

"Dating with a purposeful mind-set is really such a contrast from what we are used to seeing in our world," explained family matriarch Michelle, "Emotions get heated the closer you get. You're like two magnets being pulled together. She added, "You need [to set] boundaries together at the beginning of a relationship and tell others, so it sets up accountability."

"Jill & Jessica: Counting On" was introduced almost a year after Josh admitted to sexually molesting underage girls, four of which were his sisters. At that time, a TLC cancelled the Duggar's original show, "19 Kids and Counting," amid public outrage.

Jill and Jessa: Counting On airs Tuesdays (9 p.m. ET) on TLC.
