Former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel is currently facing a flurry of controversies such as his domestic abuse case and a car accident last month. But recently, sources said that he was involved in a fight at a club in Las Vegas.

News about the incident was first reported by TMZ. According to the news site, Manziel was at the Jewel Nightclub in Las Vegas last Friday when rapper Drake showed up for a surprise performance. This immediately sent the club patrons into a frenzy and started rushing the stage.

That's when Manziel got shoved by one of the patrons which prompted the athlete to turn around and allegedly punch the individual. A video footage of the incident, which was obtained by TMZ, showed that Manziel's victim attempted to fight back, but a security guard intervenes.

Sources said that after the scuffle, Manziel was immediately removed from the club.

It is not yet clear if the NFL will also investigate the alleged fight since it is currently focused on another incident which occurred last month. As detailed by Sports World News, Manziel was in California last April and got into a car accident after coming from a night of partying.

According to the report, Manziel was a passenger and neither him, nor the driver of the rental car was charged in the incident. Still, the NFL is his involvement in the accident.

Wayne Schneider, the owner of the rental car, said that Manziel had promised to buy him a new car since the accident caused about $90,000 worth of damage to the vehicle. However, the owner said that the former NFL athlete has not yet gotten back to him regarding his promise.

The latest incident involving Manziel just goes to show how colorful his personal life is. In a separate report by TMZ, the friends of the athlete said that they are worried about his current situation. They noted that if he continues to live like this, he might die at an early age.

"He's in a horrible downward spiral," one friend told TMZ.

"If he continues this way for much longer he will die," another friend added. "He won't live to see his 24th birthday."
