As his time at a Christian rehab draws to a close, Josh Duggar is allegedly hoping to renew his wedding vows with his wife, Anna Duggar, despite reports that she may be contemplating divorce.

"It's been really stressful for Anna because her kids want their daddy home for the holidays and she's a full-time single parent. She is getting support from the Duggar family in that they help watch the kids, but she's still under a ton of pressure," a source revealed to Hollywood Life.

"She's contemplating divorce, but now Josh wants them to renew their wedding vows in front of both of their families."

The former "19 Kids and Counting" star has made headlines throughout the year after it was revealed that he had molested some of his underage sisters and other girls as a young teen. A short time later, reports surfaced about his secret addiction to porn and his infidelity. Josh subsequently checked himself into a faith-based rehabilitation center, leaving Anna to tend to their four children.

In November, an adult movie star, simply known as Danica Dillon, sued Josh for allegedly assaulting her during a paid intimate encounter, seeking $500,000 in damages.

Despite all of this, Josh, who formerly served as a lobbyist with conservative group The Family Research Council, reportedly hopes to make amends with his wife and prove he has changed his ways by recommitting to their marriage with a vow renewal.

An insider told Hollywood Life, "He wants to have an elaborate ceremony as soon as he gets out of rehab and make it a really special occasion for Anna."

As reported by the Gospel Herald, Duggar patriarch Jim Bob also attempted to buy the couple a new house in an attempt to prevent them from separating. According to OK! Magazine, the $345,000 brick house sits close to Jim Bob and Michelle's Arkansas home and has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. However, Anna reportedly refused to the gift.

Meanwhile, Anna is slated to appear in an upcoming episode of TLC's "Jill & Jessa: Counting On," a spinoff of "19 Kids and Counting" focusing the lives of Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald.

In a preview for the show, Anna is seen tearfully discussing her heartbreak after learning of Josh's cheating ways and other scandals. In the new series, she will finally break her silence in light of the series of unfortunate events in her life, the International Design Times reports.

"My thoughts were for Anna. You're angry and hurt and all of those emotions mixed together," the Inquisitr quotes Jill Duggar-Dillard's statement in the sneak peek. "I cried a lot of tears, I still do. I know I am hurting."

The new reality show will begin airing on Dec. 13 at 8 p.m. on TLC.
