Ken Ham, president of the Answers in Genesis Christian ministry, has said he is "disgusted" after learning that an anonymous donor sent money to abortion giant Planned Parenthood in his name.

Ham addressed the situation in a Facebook post, writing: "Because of my very public statements about this evil, murderous organization, someone who opposes us sent a donation to abortion giant Planned Parenthood in 'honor' of me! I guess this person thought it was a way to rile us up because of our anti-abortion stand based on God's Word."

Ham, who is also behind the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum, also linked to an article published on answersingenesis.org where he explained he first learned of the donation when he received a "thank you" letter from Planned Parenthood.

"I opened the letter and was quite perplexed. It was thanking me for inspiring support of Planned Parenthood. It was a letter thanking me for a donation," he said. "Now, I've written a number of tweets and other social media posts accusing this organization of murdering millions of children. I've described it as being one of the biggest human-murdering machines in the world. And I've stated that abortion is no different from child sacrifice-in fact, it's sacrificing children to what I call the 'god of self'!"

As he read the letter, Ham said it "became clear" that someone who "opposes me and the ministry of Answers in Genesis sent a donation to Planned Parenthood" to "rile us up because of our anti-abortion stand based on God's Word."

The Young Earth Creationist added that he was "disgusted" by the "hypocritical statements" in the "thank you" letter. One line read, "Thank you for inspiring them [the donor] to make a gift to help us in our commitment to reproductive justice."

"In reality, 'reproductive justice' means murder and making sure there is no justice for the unborn!" Ham asserted, adding that Planned Parenthood only "cares passionately" about "eugenics and free sex."

"Because of our ministry's strong stance against abortion and my ongoing public pro-life statements, someone sent a donation to an organization we not only oppose, but one that will use the donor's money to murder more children!" he said. "Someone sent a donation to Planned Parenthood to protest our stance on God's Word and our stand against murdering children."

While Planned Parenthood is responsible for the murder of millions of children, Answers in Genesis, in contrast, "wants to help reach as many children as we can with the life-saving gospel," Ham said.

"We want to see as many children as possible saved for eternity," Ham concluded. "And the more children who are won to the Lord, the more young people we'll see building their thinking on the Bible. As a result, we pray there will be countless others ready to oppose the open sacrifice of children that is such a blight on this country (and other nations)."

Earlier in November, Hollywood actress Mila Kunis revealed that she makes monthly donations to Planned Parenthood in Mike Pence's name during an episode of "Late Night With Conan O'Brien."

"I disagreed with some of the stuff that Pence was doing and was trying to do," she said. "And so, as a reminder that there are women in the world that may or may not agree with his platform, I put him on a list of recurring donations that are made in his name to Planned Parenthood."

She added, "Every month, to his office, he gets a little letter that says 'an anonymous donation has been made in your name. I don't look at it as a prank, I look at it just as, I strongly disagree [with him], and this is my little way of showing it."

In response, the pro-life advocacy group Susan B. Anthony List announced that they, too, would accept donations to their cause -- also in the Vice President's name.

"We're now accepting donations to the pro-life cause in Vice President Mike Pence's name. Let's take a stand for life," the group tweeted.

The organization linked to a page reading, "Make a Donation in Mike Pence's Name: Your generosity will help to advance a culture of life and protect unborn children and their mothers from abortion."
