On October 9th, Lenovo announced their newest version of the popular YOGA tablet with the YOGA Tablet 2 Pro, as well as a series of smaller models.

The YOGA Tablet 2 Pro has one huge standout feature as it has a built-in Pico projector. This projector can be used on walls as an instant screen for watching TV or movie content. The projector is able to create a 50-inch image with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. In addition to the projected bigger screen size, Lenovo also upgraded the sound system on the YOG Tablet 2 Pro with an 8 watt sound system with a subwoofer.

Along the side of the YOGA Tablet 2 Pro, Lenovo has put a cylinder that gives the tablet a more bulky feel at its base, but allows the user to hold it easier in portrait mode, compared to a regular tablet or e-reader. This special cylinder contains the Lenovo YOGA Tablet 2 Pro's 9,600-mAh battery, which is good for about 15 hours of use on the road. This battery can power the projector for about two to three hours.

Like the previous versions of the YOGA, the user can manipulate the YOGA Tablet 2 Pro in various ways. There is a kickstand that allows the user to stand it up for watching content, and there is a hole in the kickstand so the YOGA can be hung on the wall.

The screen for the YOGA Tablet 2 Pro has a resolution of 2560 x 1440, which makes it very, very clear. The size is about 13 inches, making it inches larger than the first version of the iPad Air. The tablet also has an advanced edition of the Android operating system, not to mention a very high-quality camera. Inside is an Intel processor and 32 GB of storage, with a microSD card for holding up to 64 GB of space. The weight is about 2 pounds, a full pound greater than the Apple iPad.

Lenovo also debuted 8-inch and 10-inch versions of its new YOGA Tablet 2, some were using Microsoft Windows 8 while others were using Google Android's KitKat. Each version of the tablet has similar features such as 1920 x 1080 high resolution displays, Intel Atom processors, and 8 Megapixel rear cameras.

The new line of YOGA tablets from Lenovo will come during the holiday season. The YOGA Tablet 2 Pro should cost $499, while the 8-inch Tablet 2 (Android version) will be $249. As for the 8-inch and 10-inch Windows 8 tablets, those will both cost $299.
