It seems that LG is gearing up to update their entire G series phones to the latest firmware from Google -- Android 6.0 Marshmallow (Android M).  Now, here is another round of updates about Android M release date for LG G4 and G3 under Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, AT&T, and Sprint. We'll also give the latest news about LG G5.

LG Electronics is reportedly working hard to add more handsets in their Marshmallow update rollout. Although the South Korean company was not able to upgrade all of their devices immediately, few of their premium flagship phones received the Android M in some parts of the globe. This is good news, as it indicates the update will slow roll down to older phone models.

Last year, LG G3 users from Poland got their Android 6.0 upgrade, as per reports from Slash Gear. The new operating system is now gradually being launch to other LG G3 users around the world.  Some tech experts said it is odd that LG G3 got the update first because the phone is two years older than the LG G4.

Usually, when phone manufacturers upgrade their devices to the latest Android operating system, they start with their latest gadgets, and then they will upgrade the older ones gradually. However, in the case of LG phones, LG G3 received Android M first before the G4.

For LG G4 users, who are subscribed to T-mobile and Verizon expect the update to come at the end of January or early February, according to an article from Morning News USA.

By upgrading to the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow, users have an opportunity to leave the bug-filled and frustrating Android Lollipop. The new operating system offers reliable security features, smooth user interface and battery saving options. Moreover, the system has innovative apps like Android Doze, Google Now on Top and upgraded volume controls with a new do-not-disturb mode.

With these developments, it seems that LG is committed to delivering the Android 6.0 Marshmallow software to their G series subscribers. Also, owners of other gadgets from the South Korean tech company are expected to get the upgrade soon.

Meanwhile, here is the latest update about the much-anticipated LG G5. Tech Radar reported that the new flagship device of LG is set to be released on Barcelona's MWC 2016, which will happen next month.

The new handset will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 820 chip. Moreover, it will boast 20MP snapper with a custom Sony 1/2-inch sensor.

There's still no official word from LG about the cost of G5. The same source from Tech Radar estimated the device could be priced around £500/$600/AU$1000.
