The LG V20 would be the second flagship smartphone from the South Korean manufacturer from the year, where the LG G5 was launched earlier in 2016 which brought with it the idea of modular add-ons to the smartphone. Well, the LG V20 might be a flagship model on its own, but it will play a very different role as opposed to the LG G5. For instance, this will be a multimedia powerhouse as opposed to the more generic flagship smartphone model that the LG G5 brings to the table.

The LG V20 has already been released over in its home country of South Korea at the end of September, and we are pleased to bring you word that over in North America, folks will are already able to wrap their fingers around this pretty little baby. So far, the initial rumblings concerning the LG V20 has been favorable, which is always a good sign. Best of all is -- for the moment, at least, there would be no worry about having the LG V20 explode while you are using it, or when it is being charged.

LG V20 specs
The LG V20, being a flagship device, will come with a sleek looking chassis that measures all of 159.7mm x 78.1mm x 7.6mm, while it tips the scales at 6.14 ounces. Your eyes will be able to marvel at the 5.7-inch screen that sports a whopping 1,440 x 2,560 pixels -- making this a Quad HD display with a pixel density of 513ppi. Just to make sure that those of us who happen to have sweaty palms or are simply careless, rest assured that additional protection is offered to the display thanks to the presence of Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

There will be two capacities available for the LG V20 -- one of them will come with 32GB of internal storage, while the other would sport double the amount. Regardless of which model you pick, they will still come with 4GB of RAM underneath the hood, while the powerful Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 chipset that is accompanied by a 2x1.6 GHz Kryo Quad-core processor ensures that everything that you throw at the LG V20 will run as smoothly as possible without any hiccups whatsoever.

To make sure that you would not see the low storage space icon on the top right hand of the LG V20, or at least minimize the chances of that happening, LG has decided to include a microSD memory card slot, allowing you to bump up the internal memory to 256GB if you so desire. Pretty nifty when you think about it, taking into consideration how some of the more modern flagships these days have decided to drop this feature.

At the back lies a couple of 16-megapixel 29mm f/1.8 and an 8-megapixel 12mm f/2.4 rear camera, while the front has a 5-megapixel f/1.9 shooter for selfies. A removable 3,200mAh battery makes it a snap to swap batteries as and when required, rather than to wait for a full charge as you are on the move. It also runs on Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box, making it one of the first few non-Google devices to do so.
