After Apple unveiled iPhone SE last month, fans are now asking about the latest developments on Macbook Pro 2016. Several tech experts suggest that the Cupertino-based tech company will announce the new laptop on June. Now, here's the latest round-up of update about next the MacBook Pro launching, specs and price.

Some tech enthusiasts hoped for a new MacBook Pro at Apple's 21 March launch event. However, the company only announced the iPhone SE smartphone, the 9.7-inch iPad Pro tablet and new Apple Watch straps. These Apple products are great, but several fans want a new MacBook Pro.

As of now, there are two variants of MacBook Pro available in the market. By looking at the release cycle of MacBook Pro products, the new edition should be available by now. The current 13-inch MacBook Pro model was updated in March 2015, and the current 15-inch model was updated in May 2015.

International Business Times reported Apple would conduct a press conference on the annual WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference), which is scheduled to happen on June 13 -17. Rumors said that Apple may reveal MacBook Pro 2016 on the said event.

The same source from IB Times claimed the next-generation MacBook Pro 2016 will come in two variants. One model is said to feature a 13-inch screen and other variant is speculated to have a 15-inch display. Both models are rumored to boast sixth-generation Intel Skylake processors.

Skylake will definitely bring performance boost to the new MacBook Pro, making it a faster machine.  It is reported that laptops from Dell, HP and Microsoft have already moved to Skylake, so it is not surprising if Apple decided to install the processor to MacBook Pro 2016.

Furthermore, Skylake could improve the battery life of the device too. The current 13in MacBook Pro provides 10 hours of battery life and the 15in model offers 8 hours. The next set of MacBook Pro could feature 9 and 12 hours of battery capacity, according to MacWorld.

As for the other specs of MacBook Pro 2016, rumors hint it will feature Retina Display, Force Touch enabled Touchpad, Siri for Mac, USB Type-C, Touch ID fingeprint scanner and support for external graphics.

The price of the 13-inch MacBook Pro 2016 is estimated to cost around $1500, and the 15-inch model is rumored to come around $2800.
