Meizu unveils its latest flagship device that will sure go head-to-head against today's top brands like Samsung and Apple. The Meizu Pro 6 is said to have the smallest antenna lines in the business and powerful 10-core processor. Many tech experts applaud the top-of-the-line features of Meizu Pro 6. Its design does not stand out among other smartphones, but it boasts amazing features inside.
The Verge reported the the Pro 6 is the first smartphone that use deca-core MediaTek Helio X25 processor. Today's flagships phones from Samsung, HTC and LG only use octa-core processors
The Helio X25 has faster GPU at 850 MHz compare to its previous versions. This chipset will no doubt boost the computing capabilities of the handset. In addition, it will help to prevent lags and delays in the system.
Furthermore, the Pro 6 introduces a pressure-sensitive touchscreen, called 3D Press by Meizu. This feature matches Apple 3D touch technology in terms of appearance and functionality. Meizu's 3D Press also blurs out background when used on the home screen.
According to International Business Times, the device has two different versions in terms of RAM and internal storage. Buyers can choose from the top-spec 6 GB RAM with 128 GB storage and the 4 GB RAM with 64 GB storage.
For camera technology, the device also ranks among the best in the market. Pro 6's rear camera is 20 MP, while the front-camera is 5 MP. Aside from that, the device offers Phase-detect autofocus, new image-processing algorithms, and touch focus. The main camera is also reportedly capable of shooting 4k videos.
Meizu's upcoming smartphone sports 1920 x 1080 screen resolution. Its lower resolution helps the 2,560mAh battery last longer.
Buyers can also have concert-like listening experience with Pro 6, thanks to Cirrus Logic CS43L36 chip, which is also present in iPhone's audio components. Additionally, the handset has USB-C data cable to ensure its rapid charging technology will not cause overheating.
As of now, there's still no word from Meizu about the availability of Pro 6. However, Techno Buffalo predicted it will be available for $386 for the 32GB version and $432 for the 64GB version.
