Minecraft getting another Title Update soon.
The TU25 update.

For those not familiar with Mojang and 4J Studios game Minecraft, it is a sandbox/strategy game where the player builds their world out of 1 x 1 blocks.  The game is a huge success, and it has players that are in the millions.  Like Clash of Clans, it looks like Minecraft will have some new updates soon.  This is what we know about the Minecraft Title Updates and Patch Release Date for the PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

If you go to the Minecraft Wiki, there is a plan for an update on July 1st.  This update, also known as TU25/CU14/1.17 will change gameplay as it will have a classic crafting options like disable weather, changing the game mode, changing difficulty, set time, set spawn point, and cave sounds. There will also be some new blocks and items like stained glass, stained glass panes, new types of fences for all different types of wood, new types of doors for all different types of wood, an iron trapdoor as well as Book and Quill.  Other updates include "customizable superflat worlds" and the Daylight Sensors can now be inverted.

The most recent updates include CU13, which is essentially bug fixes.  TU 24/CU12/1.16 was launched on April 29, 2015, and include some new music, new achievements, a new Alex skin and some variations of it to the default skins.

The PC edition is planning on receiving a Combat Update, but there is no release date for that.  The fact that it is listed in the bug tracker as "Far Future Version 1.9+" is not a good sign.  The fact that it is called Combat Update might be related to a recent Reddit post from Dinnerbone.  This is what he had to say about that:  "I'm not going to tell you any more about it, but I do want to get your opinions and feedback on combat in Minecraft as it is right now - and hopefully what you think it could be like in your ideal future".  It looks like Minecraft's fighting aspect is about to be brought up into a whole new level.

On a related note, Minecraft plans to be released for the Microsoft Hololens in the near future.  The Hololens is a set of goggles that allow the user to see with "holographic" views in an augmented reality point of view.  A recent demonstration at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) proved to be quite impressive, and it is no wonder that Microsoft bought Minecraft with this type of  technology.  The Hololens will be demonstrated again at Minecon or Minecraftcon 2015, a convention devoted to the game in London, England from July 4-5.  It is possible that Mojang could announce more title update news from there.
