"Mortal Kombat X" fans have been anticipating the "Kombat Pack" DLC update for months now. Fortunately, the details on the new additional characters have already been revealed in the latest trailer revealed.

In one of the surprises at The Game Awards last night, it was announced that the four new characters will be Bo Rai Cho, Leatherface, Xenomorph and Tri-Borg.

A user uploaded a YouTube video of the update but it was immediately taken down. However, AllGamesBethesda was able to upload the video release on their server so the trailer can still be seen on their site.

Leatherface from "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" franchise was an interesting addition. This character wears an iconic mask made of human skin. He is known to engage in cannibalism and murder. In the series, he has been made the antagonist since the story basically revolved around him.

Xenomorph, which means "unknown shape," an an extraterrestrial specie with multiple life cycles. There is little known about his origin but it is speculated that Xenomorph is an artificial specie. There is also another theory stating this creature could be the Deacon character in the legend of Prometheus.

Xenomorph is a very flexible character. It can create numerous varieties of itself and it has strong physical capabilities. One of the stand out abilities of the Xenomorph is its basic reflex. It has a typical primate intelligence but it has the capability to adapt quickly to its surroundings.

On the other hand, Bo Rai Cho is a former character in "Mortal Kombat" that is making a comeback. This is an obese man who is a drunken mater in martial arts. One of his most popular moves is called "Puke Puddle." Even though his drunken appearance seems deceiving, this character is a highly skilled fighter.

Bo Rai Cho has an extreme power that can even manipulate earthquakes. He also uses his belly to bounce off masses and walls.

Lastly, Tri-Borg is the mix of Sektor, Robot Smoke and Cyrax. Though this character is unique, some fans have been disappointed with the Tri-Borg announcement.

Others are saying that this mix-up is an insult to Cyrax. Since this is a mix of three characters, the users are speculating that the power fusion for Tri-Borg would be confusing and boring.

While others do not like Tri-Borg, other users express their appreciation for this creation.

"Why would anyone hate it. Combines the 3 coolest characters into a sick robot fusion. Its by far one of the coolest characters in the franchise," wrote Bloodmoon77.
