Google released the Android 6.0 Marshmallow (Android M) update on their Nexus devices last year. After that, other tech companies attempted to upgrade their devices to the latest operating software. Now, here is the update about the release date of Marshmallow on Moto G 2014, 2015; Moto X 1st Gen, 2nd Gen, 3rd Gen, Moto E.
According to International Business Times, the 3rd generation of Moto G has received the Android M update in India. Motorola India has posted the announced in their Twitter account. The post says "Here is something new and amazing for your Moto G (3rd Gen.), the Android 6.0 Marshmallow!"
For Moto G 2015 users in the United States, they can also download the Android M update, which was released Dec. 28 last year.
In a separate report from IB Times, it published that Motorola Inc. plans to include the Moto X Play, Moto Turbo, Moto G (both 2nd and 3rd Generation), and Moto X (second generation), as well as the Droid Turbo and Moto Maxx in the next Android Marshmallow update. However, the article did not say the release date of the upgrade.
Meanwhile, Moto X Style phones in Brazil and India have received the latest update. For European Moto X users, they would get the new operating system in the next few weeks. Moto X (2014 edition) owners in the United States, Canada, India, and the United Kingdom is also included in the upgrade.

Motorola also included tons of upgrades and enhancements in the latest update. Moto phone users can now find an option for 'Do not disturb' under the 'Sound and notification' settings to make sure they would not be interrupted during meetings or while sleeping. The feature is similar to Moto Assist, so the tech company is removing Moto Assist as part of the upgrade to M.
