The Cleveland Cavaliers are entering the NBA season this year with quite a bit of uncertainty in the LeBron James squad. With the start of training camp and as the regular NBA season draws nearer, it appears that the Cavs should make the necessary adjustments in their basketball roster.

With the unclear status of Tristan Thompson, there remains questions on whether or not LeBron James will eventually come to Thompson's rescue and help in pressuring the NBA team to give in to the Canadian basketball star's demands.

Meanwhile, Cleveland will reportedly provide Kevin Love more opportunities to exhibit his basketball and leadership skills this NBA season - a decision echoed by LeBron James himself.

"No question, this summer we looked for and identified ways that we can take advantage of Kev's unique skill set, and hopefully we'll see that on the floor," shared Cleveland Cavaliers head coach David Blatt, according to ESPN.

The confidence and trust of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the bigger role to be entrusted to Kevin Love this upcoming NBA season was also confirmed by LeBron James, "I just think he's more comfortable in the situation that he's in."

The Cleveland Cavaliers main man went on to discuss, "He's got a year under his belt; he knows what he expects out of himself and what his teammates expect out of him. I expect big things from him this year with a year up under his belt."

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers have yet to release an official statement regarding the future of Tristan Thompson in the NBA team.

At this point, it remains to be seen whether or not Tristan Thompson will accept the one-year qualifying offer of the Cleveland Cavaliers worth $7 million. If he refuses to budge on his demand to have a five-year max contract worth $94 million, then Tristan Thompson will be considered a holdout player who is still under restricted free agent terms.

As of this writing, no information regarding the decision of Tristan Thompson with regard his future with the Cleveland Cavaliers has been released. However, the general manager of Cleveland Cavaliers, David Griffin, appeared confident that things will fall in place eventually.

"We fully expect that tomorrow he [Tristan Thompson] will be here in some form or fashion," said Griffin. "We're hopeful that he wants to move forward with his teammates in the same way that we want to have Tristan here. If we can come to some agreement, then we will."
