Reports disclosed that James Harden incurred his injury during a particularly aggressive fast break run against the Orlando Magic. The Houston Rockets star player suffered from a contusion on his right knee, prompting the officials of the NBA team to remove him from the floor and have his injury attended to immediately. Prior to getting off the game against the Orlando Magic, James Harden already pitched in 12 points as well as 4 assists to the Houston Rockets score. It remains to be seen if James Harden could easily recover from his injury.

In the previous NBA season, James Harden had been the frontrunner in terms of points and fouls in the basketball games.
