The San Antonio Spurs arguably made one of the most widely coveted signing in the NBA offseason when former Portland Trailblazers star LaMarcus Aldridge entered the Tim Duncan basketball squad. With the addition of an NBA All-Star, the San Antonio Spurs have been recognized as the team to watch out for this regular season. It appears, however, that the Gregg Popovich team have yet to finds its rhythm in terms of incorporating the skills of Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili into a workable system that will include former Portland Trailblazers star LaMarcus Aldridge. Aside from the Big Three, LaMarcus Aldridge also needs to adjust to the moves executed by rising San Antonio Spurs star Kawhi Leonard.

With the NBA regular season heating up though, it looks like fans and followers of the San Antonio Spurs are growing weary of waiting for LaMarcus Aldridge to finally adapt to the gameplays and strategies that have made the Tim Duncan squad a formidable basketball team. Moreover, some supporters of the San Antonio Spurs are now wondering whether the departure of the likes of Marco Belinelli, Aaron Baynes, Tiago Splitter and Cory Joseph is finally taking a toll on the basketball team. Hence, these same fans are figuring out whether or not the wooing of the great LaMarcus Aldridge in an effort to supposedly boost the San Antonio Spurs roster had been worth it.

In the NBA game against the Boston Celtics though, LaMarcus Aldridge showed hints of his old NBA All-Star self.

"We tried to get him the ball, make him more comfortable," shared Gregg Popovich, referring to the moves executed by the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA match against the Boston Celtics, according to SB Nation. The San Antonio Spurs head coach went on to say, "He made three or four shots in a row that helped us win the game. They were making a great run, they were energetic, they did a great job. They executed really well. This is a fine team, they're just inexperienced. They executed and moved the ball better than we did. But LaMarcus saved our ass."

For his part, LaMarcus Aldridge shared that he simply what he thought were the best moves for the San Antonio Spurs at the time. The NBA All-Star said, "Guys are telling me to shoot it and take my shots, but then you go to a new team, and you're always going to try to be a guy to make the extra pass and be unselfish. So I think I'm trying to figure out my way of being unselfish and take my shots."
