Moses Malone Jr., the son of retired NBA superstar Moses Malone, has accused Houston Rockets shooting guard James Harden of ordering his entourage to mug him at a nightclub on early Saturday morning. According to the NBA legend's son, the beat down and robbery was triggered after he criticized Harden and his youth basketball camp.

As reported by ABC 13, the incident occurred over the weekend at the V Lice club in Houston. According to Malone, he got attacked by a group of men who he identified as members of Harden's entourage. But aside from beating him up, the assailants also stole his David Yurman jewelry, which according to his lawyer George Farah was worth around $15,000.

Malone also noted that the security guards of the nightclub did not do anything to stop the attack. However, according to Carl A. Moore, the legal representative of V Live, Malone's statements about the guards were inaccurate. Moore also noted that Harden was not at the club when the incident occurred.

"I don't believe Mr. Harden was at the club, and I definitely don't believe he had anything to do with an attack on Mr. Malone," Moore said in a statement. "And so the club's position is that Mr. Malone is a regular of the club. We would have done everything we could to make sure he was safe."

Malone believes he was attacked by Harden's group for posting about the NBA player's youth basketball camp in his social media account. In the post, Malone criticized the entrance fee for the camp.

"Don't he make way more $ than Donald Driver??? But he charging $249 & the inner city kids have no chance to go to his camp. Hollywood Harden" Malone's post read.

The Houston Police Department have already been made aware about the incident and are currently looking into the matter. Based on their initial investigation, at least four of the assailants were carrying guns when the attack took place.

The Rockets were also informed about Malone's allegations against Harden but the team has not yet released a statement about it.
