For months now, Chris Bosh's status with the Miami Heat and the NBA has been unknown. But, it seems he is getting ready to play next season since he was recently spotted training with his teammates.

Since the latter months of the 2015-2016 season, Bosh has been battling with a serious health condition. As basketball fans saw, the blood clots in his leg has forced him to miss quite a few games last season.

As the offseason rolled in, fans were still left in the dark regarding the athlete's exact condition. This led to reports suggesting that he might not get to play this years. Others even indicated that his condition might forced him to an early retirement.

If this happens, then it will serve as a heavy blow to the entire Miami organization. Losing Bosh will certainly cripple the team especially since it lost key player Dwayne Wade to the Chicago Bulls.

However, as reported by Hot Hot Hoops, it seems the Heat will still have a fighting chance next season with Bosh on their roster.

In a video shared by the team last week, Bosh can be seen training and practicing intense drills with his teammates. Although the clip shouldn't probably be considered as a confirmation of his status, it still highlights the fact that Bosh is physically capable of running drills and playing basketball.

This could also mean that he might be able to play basketball with the Heat once the 2016-2017 season starts.

As previously noted by Bosh, he is focused on becoming an active player again for the Heat organization. He aims to do this by closely working with doctors to constantly monitor his condition.

"I know there have been many questions regarding my health and when I will play again," he said in July according to Sun Sentinel. "My situation this year has never been life threatening. I am feeling great and currently I do not have deep vein thrombosis."

"Together with the Miami Heat, I am working with doctors, exploring the best precautionary treatment options and taking every necessary step to make sure I am healthy for myself, my family and my team," he added.
