The Houston Rockets are making surprising offseason moves especially in light of their decision not to re-sign Jason Terry. Without these veterans in the roster, fans of the James Harden team are confused on the direction the group wants to pursue. Recent reports indicate that a Nick Young trade to the Houston Rockets locker room may be in the works. Will the Los Angeles Lakers star do better than recent failed acquisitions Ty Lawson and Dwight Howard?

Swaggy P, who has seen his numbers and minutes fall ever since he signed a multi-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, is now subjected to countless NBA trade rumors. Among the basketball teams reported to be potential landing spots for the Nick Young trade train are the Sacramento Kings, Los Angeles Clippers, Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors. However, it looks like the former fiancé of Iggy Azalea, who got tangled in a messy drama with D'Angelo Russell, might be heading to the Houston Rockets instead.

The breakout performance of Nick Young with the Los Angeles Lakers comprised his notable skills off the bench. As one of the best sixth man at the time, the Kobe Bryant team eventually decided to offer Swaggy P with a lucrative deal. However, the Nick Young hype eventually died down and reportedly brought along with it the trust of the Los Angeles Lakers on the capacity of the star to boost the team's performance.

However, it looks like a potential Nick Young trade to the Houston Rockets could present a second chance to the Los Angeles Lakers star. Moreover, rumors are rife that Swaggy P found support from fellow NBA star James Harden. Given the fact that The Beard is the face of the franchise, holding pretty much the same influence as LeBron James in the Cleveland Cavaliers, Russell Westbrook in the OKC, Carmelo Anthony in the New York Knicks and Paul George in the Indiana Pacers, it becomes even more probable that Nick Young could be in Houston soon.

At this point, though, the Nick Young trade possibility to the Houston Rockets remains a rumor. No official confirmation has been given by the parties involved. However, fans of James Harden feel that Nick Young could be the perfect addition to the team that failed to make it work with Dwight Howard, Jason Terry and Ty Lawson.

What do you think? Should the Houston Rockets pursue a Nick Young trade? Will the Los Angeles Lakers star be a good sixth man for the James Harden team? Or will he also fail the same way Dwight Howard and Ty Lawson did in the past NBA seasons?
