The rumors surrounding the potential transfer of Los Angeles Clippers star Jamal Crawford to another NBA team have been making the rounds online and offline as of late. While no official statement had been provided by the Los Angeles Clippers or Jamal Crawford himself, it appears that the speculations are still rife. Two of the most widely talked about potential NBA teams that could welcome the Los Angeles Clippers star soon are the New York Knicks and the Miami Heat.

According to Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel, the addition of Jamal Crawford in the Miami Heat would see the team putting on lesser pressure on newly minted stars Justise Winslow, Josh Richardson and Tyler Johnson. With regard the potential Miami Heat star to be traded to the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for Jamal Crawford, the reporter pointed out the significance of determining who between Chris "Birdman" Andersen and Josh McRoberts would be more suitable to remain with the Chris Bosh team. Winderman further stated that the Miami Heat would need to figure out who between the two players could easily accommodate and complement the playing style of Hassan Whiteside, Amare Stoudemire and Bosh himself.

Jamal Crawford can also boost the Miami Heat's scoring ability if he chooses to sign with the NBA team. This possibility could become even more feasible during the nights when Miami Heat stars Goran Dragic or Dwyane Wade are out of the action. Having a player like Los Angeles Clippers Jamal Crawford in the Miami Heat would guarantee that the scoreboard will not stop the moment the big men get off the court - a backup plan that has not escaped the attention of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

While LeBron James will undoubtedly be part of the majority of the games of the Cleveland Cavaliers, it remains to be seen if he could be present in all the matches this NBA season. With that possibility in mind, the Cleveland Cavaliers would need an NBA star capable of stepping up once LeBron James or Kyrie Irving finds himself absent from the game.

Meanwhile, the New York Knicks appear to be hankering for a trade to acquire Jamal Crawford in the NBA team. With the Los Angeles Clippers star potentially fulfilling the same role as that eyed by the Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat, the New York Knicks reportedly also sees Jamal Crawford as a substitute for Carmelo Anthony.

This flexibility on the part of the Los Angeles Clippers star has made Jamal Crawford such an attractive player to the rest of the NBA - except perhaps to his own group at the moment. Sports analysts believe that the entrance of Paul Pierce and Lance Stephenson in the Los Angeles Clippers locker room has made the value of Jamal Crawford drop, according to SB Nation. Needless to say, he now becomes a very lucrative trading chip for the Los Angeles Clippers.
